The client (listed above) is hereby contracting and engaging Sun Hill Studio for the purposes of music production and/or recording services. Said recording/production services shall be rendered severally to the client, and the studios' time shall be devoted exclusively to said client when an appointment or "booking" is made for the studio's services. Additionally, the client agrees to pay Sun Hill Studio the agreed-upon hourly or daily rate for said services. The client also agrees that any deposit(s) paid in advance of booked sessions may be forfeited, if he/she does not attend the session at the appointed time. The client understands that the studio has reserved a given time period for the exclusive use of the client and therefore deposits are non-refundable. The client agrees to sign an invoice at the conclusion of each day's session acknowledging the time expended that day for recording services. ATTENTION: All clients MUST pay their balance in-full at the end of each day’s session, unless prior arrangements have been made with the studio manager. Additional costs such as; C.D. duplication, Data Backup to DVD or Hard Drive, etc. shall be billed separately or with studio time, and the client understands the necessity for these material costs.

NOTE: PAYMENT IS DUE IN FULL UPON RECEIPT. ANY PAST DUE BALANCES ARE SUBJECT TO A 1.5% PER MONTH FINANCE CHARGE AND/OR LATE FEES UNTIL THE BILL IS PAID. In the event that this account is placed in the hands of a collection agency or attorney, the purchaser agrees to pay ALL collection costs including Sun Hill Studio legal fees & court costs. And if suit becomes necessary, the correct venue is Alachua County, FL. Purchaser further agrees to be bound on all accounts signed by him/her, his/her authorized employees or assigns.

SUN HILL STUDIO GENERAL INFORMATION BOOKING & STUDIO POLICIES
Payment/Booking Policies
A deposit will be required to confirm all studio bookings. Such deposit shall be equal to 50% of the cost of the total time booked. Deposit must be received at least (7)seven days prior to session. Sun Hill Studio reserves the right to waive such deposit requirement at its discretion (typically for existing clients). Studio bookings for which no deposit has been received by Sun Hill Studio shall be subject to change or cancellation should management so decide, without notice to client.
Notice of a client's intent to cancel a session must be received by Sun Hill Studio no later than 48 hours (2 days) before such session. If notice is not received by Sun Hill Studio, or there is a No-Show, the client shall be liable for the cost of one half of the time booked. Client's deposit as stated above may be applied by Sun Hill Studio in partial (or full) satisfaction of such liability. Sessions cancelled the same day of the scheduled session will be liable for the total cost of the booked time.
Payment in full for materials and studio time is due and payable immediately following each session, if deposit(s) previously paid do not cover session costs. Sun Hill Studio reserves the right to make other financial arrangements with its clients. If a payment conflict should arise, due to late or non-payment of studio fees, then client(s) shall pay ALL Sun Hill Studio collection costs and/or attorney's fees associated with any financial collection processes for services rendered by Sun Hill Studio or for materials purchased. Any open invoices owed to Sun Hill Studio not paid within 30 days will be subject to a 1.5% finance charge per month until the balance is paid in full.
No recording tapes, CD’s, DVD’s, etc. in Sun Hill Studio possession shall be released to clients until all open accounts have been settled and all checks tendered as payment have cleared Sun Hill Studio account. Sun Hill Studio shall retain complete ownership of the master tapes/data until all studio bill(s) are paid in full.
Clients assume all risks associated with storing, on or off the premises of Sun Hill Studio, or Sun Hill Studio use of, any and all sound recordings, video recordings, digital data in any storage format including but not limited to audio, video, smpte, midi, or other digital or analog file types, or equipment of any kind or nature and shall hold Sun Hill Studio harmless from any and all damage that might occur to said articles for any reason. In any event, Sun Hill Studio liability shall be limited to the replacement cost of any unrecorded tape or disk of comparable value. Sun Hill Studio liability with respect to "downtime" of any and all studio sessions as a result from equipment malfunction or availability, personnel, hired musicians, acts of nature or public utility companies, emergency vehicle noise such as police sirens etc., shall be limited solely to the studio time of such booked session; and client(s) agree to hold Sun Hill Studio harmless from any and all damages from such "downtime".
Sun Hill Studio makes no warranties either express or implied other than those contained herein. Sun Hill Studio shall not be liable for unforeseen or consequential damages of any kind. Should Sun Hill Studio be unable to conduct a booked session for any reason, then Sun Hill Studio warrants that it shall re-book such canceled booking at another time that is mutually available to Sun Hill Studio and the client.
Data Archiving & Storage
At Sun Hill Studio we record your Pro-Tools sessions on high-performance hard drives for maximum efficiency in the recording & mixing process. We don’t charge for this, it’s included in the studio rate! After your project is completed, the data must be archived to a final storage medium before we erase it from these drives. We do this with DVD-R discs or to Firewire Hard Drives. You may purchase DVD backups or Firewire drives here. You may also bring in your own drive. When you start your project we require a one-time administration fee of $50.00 to cover the costs of archiving your project if you don’t provide or purchase a drive. This fee is paid upon completion of the session, and final bill is paid.

Rates, policies, and equipment may change without displayed, written or verbal notice.
Equipment Rentals
With sufficient notice and availability, we will gladly accommodate your specific equipment requirements, both within and outside the studios. Contact the studio office for our current rental gear list, which may be emailed or picked up. Please call us anytime for rates and availability.
Production and Talent
Producers may be made available for all types of projects and musical genres.
Custom music produced for demos, music beds/jingles/sound effects are available. We also have songwriters that may be engaged for your artists. Additionally, professional studio musicians may be hired, and Sun Hill Studio will be happy to arrange/book the musicians for you at an additional charge of $50/hr.
